The Cox, and in charge.
Milan is an outstanding member of the TWBS rowing squads, leading the way on how to be an outstanding young man, determined to make an impact, and go after mega aspirations on and off the water, and not just in rowing, all with a smile. Deeply caring he may be, but he is fiercely determined to do well, and as the cox, ensures the crew always maintain the correct standards. They do no mess with him. Recently appointed Head Boy at TWBS, Milan has a very bright future ahead of him!
Arran Eden - BOW
Arran has worked with real determination to break into the top end of the senior squad in 2025, working hard on his technique and physical development. He hates losing and drives himself consistently everyday in training, culminating in WINNING Championship Coxed Fours at the National Schools Regatta 2025
Pierce Woods - 2
Pierce quietly gets on with his training, always present, and has worked incredibly hard all season culminating in winning J18 2nd Quads at the 2025 National Schools Regatta. A real asset to any team, he is extemley well liked in the squad. Pierce has a fierce competitive side, that he uses as weapon when he really needs it, and he continues to be a fantastic asset to WBSBC
Zac Coombes - 3
Zac is very much part of the next generation at TWBS, gaining selection to the J16 'A' quad, which just last weekend was selected to the GB v France team in the quad. Sadly the NSR was lost to winds for the J16 quad, but Zac has worked hard to develop his ability on the and off the water. Quick in the single and with a strong ergo, the future is definitely ahead of Zac.
Arjun Kharay - 4
Arjun is a real power house int he 4 seat, and now in his 2nd Henley Campaign off the back of winnig the historic CHampionship Coxed Fours at the recent Henley Royal Regatta. Very well liked in the squad, Arjun is determined and ever present, and all the while achieving excellent academics along the way. A massive team player, WBSBC will miss Arjun greatly when he leaves for university this summer.
Haris Shawl - 5
Another powerhouse int he 5 seat, Haris returns to to the Eight for his second Henley Campaign, following on from winning the Championship Coxed Fours at the recent National Schools Regatta. Very well liked in the squad, for his excellent sense of humour, Haris continues to work really hard at his rowing, determined to find out how good he can be, and on a mission to use his undoubted size as a weapon in the future.
Will Markham - 6
Will has proven himself to be an outstanding boat mover, very capable in all boat types, including the single scull. Narrowly missing out on the J16 'A' quad in 2025, he was a real force in the J16 'A' Double that sadly did not get to race at the Nationals. A character in the squad, Will is known for his flamboyant tastes, which includes his single, and is never afraid to stand out from the crowd. An excellent prospect for the future.
Ciaran Reilly - 7
The rhytem man, Ciaran is queitly determined, and has found his place as a sweep specialist at TWBS. Technically very capable, Ciaran has worked very hard to develop his physicality throughout the year, rarely missing a session, culminating in the historic Coxed Four win at the Nationals
Casper Litherland STROKE
Never can a year be so full of challenges for one young athlete, and yet here Casper is, stroking the Eight at Henley Royal Regatta. Casper has had to pick himself up over and over this year, but such is his stoic determination he has never lost his determination to be the best he can be, and to take every opportunity. Casper is truly an inspiration to all WBSBC athletes this year, and always with a strong sense of humour that often has everyone in stitches. A talented STROKE man, it is without doubt he intends to use the Eight this year as a platform for the future
