Our Summer Learn to Row Courses are exciting and different! 

We offer full Learn to Row Programmes, as well as Improver Courses for those who may well have completed a Learn to Row Programme at TWBS or elsewhere. The courses are tailored, and the aim is to have a lot of fun on the water while learning some key skills that you will be able to take into either Year 9 rowing at The Windsor Boys' School, Year 9 rowing at Windsor Girls School (which we will sign post you too), or indeed another rowing centre.

Courses run 8:45 - 14:30 Monday-Friday

Who?

Boys and Girls aged 11-13 (Years 6 to 8)

No experience necessary for the Learn to Row courses

Some experience required for the Improver courses.

What?

Five-day Learn to Row and Improver courses. Includes

coaching, racing, and fun skills activities with new

teammates.

Where?

The Stovell Boathouse next to Windsor Leisure

Centre. We have a dedicated coaching team, excellent

facilities, and decades of experience teaching kids how to

row.

Connected to the Windsor Rowing Partnership which includes

The Windsor Boys’ School & Eton Excelsior/Windsor Girls School Rowing Programmes

PLEASE NOTE TO ENROL ON AN IMPROVER COURSE, PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE COMPLETED A LEARN TO ROW COURSE, and All improver courses are run at the Mike Tovell Training Centre, Oakley Green Windsor.

GIRLS ARE ENCOURAGED, AND POST COURSE WILL BE SIGNPOSTED TOWARDS THE ETON EXCELSIOR/WINDSOR GIRLS PROGRAMME, WITH BOYS SIGNPOSTED TO JOIN YEAR 9 ROWING AT TWBS SHOULD THEY ATTEND TWBS
